How do you say popcorn in Spanish

How do you say “popcorn” in Spanish?

It depens on the region.
The most usual expression is “palomitas de maíz” and most Spanish speakers would understand.
But there are other expressions that could also be used: crispetas, rosetas, rositas de maíz, pipocas, pochoclos, cotufas.
It depends on the region, but the first one should be fine.

There is actually a lot of ways to say this word because of the idioms of the Spanish countries.
In México for example people call them “palomitas” or “palomas” and Venezuela “cotufa”.
I actually like this, there are a lot of diversity and is interesting to see and hear all kind of idioms.
