Do you write to please the masses or stay true to yourself with your own voice

Do you write to please the masses or stay true to yourself with your own voice?

Good question.
I write to please the masses by staying true to myself with my own voice.
I love to resolve the problems of others.
In my office, i have been tagged by many as their ‘go to person’ There is always a selfish desire behind this “selfless service” i.
e.
to look a noble person in the eyes of others.
I always believe in “knowledge sharing” and making this society a perfect place to live – a utopia.
This inner drive to learn and let others learn is what makes you good writer.
Isn’t it?
